Vphase Claims

by Steve on March 25, 2010

VPhase could reduce demand for nuclear.

Lee Juby, chief executive of the voltage optimisation manufacturers Vphase says-

“We believe we can cut electricity use in the average home by 10%.  We also estimate that if we could install our devices in the 24million homes in the UK it would eliminate the need to build one nuclear power station”.

That’s some claim, and the ongoing trials in UK households still have their sceptics.

If given the go ahead, the project will be a real money spinner for Vphase.

The UK market has the potential of 1.4 million homes a year with 7 million in Europe and 10 million in the USA.
