List of NICEIC Training Courses for Electricians

17th Edition 1st Amendment
Three day classroom-based course for understanding BS7671 – IEE Wiring Regulations.

Initial Verification
Understanding the requirements to consider when design, erecting and verifying electrical installations.

Inspection & Testing
Gather a greater understanding of the design, erection and verification of electrical installations.

PAT Testing
Portable appliance testing of electrical equipment (PAT).

Design & Verification
Gather a greater understanding of the design, erection and verification of electrical installations.

Emergency Lighting
Providing the basic required knowledge to design an Emergency Lighting systems to BS5266.

Fire Alarms
Providing the basic information needed with regards to the installation of fire alarms and emergency lighting systems.

Surge Protection
Classroom based course for understanding BS7671 sections 443, 534 and appendix 16 and the use of SPDs.

Lightning Protection
Classroom based course for understanding BS EN 62305 – The risks and protection against both Direct and Indirect Lightning strikes to a structure and its electrical / electronic contents.

Part P Domestic Installer Scheme Qualification
Understanding of how to carry out general domestic electrical work that falls under Part P of the Building Regulations.

Accessory Replacement
This course has been designed to give individuals the skills and understanding required to allow them to safely isolate an electrical system to safely remove a nd replace an accessory on a like for like basis.

Test and Measurement Workshop
This course has been designed to give practicing electricians the skills in using test equipment to complete electrical installation certificates or reports.

Safe Isolation
This course will give a candidate the skills and knowledge to allow them to safely isolate an electrical installation or part of it.

1st Amendment and EICR
This course will take you through all the amendments made to BS7671.

Electric Car Charging Course
This course is aimed at contractors looking to expand their business to accommodate the installation of electrical vehicle charging points
