Wind Turbine Industry

EAL Level 2 Diploma in Safe Working Practice in the Wind Turbine Industry

Wind Turbine training. This is a Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ). It has been developed as an introduction and pathway to employment within the Wind Turbine Industry by providing the essential mandatory skills and knowledge of safety.

Suitable for anyone over 16 to develope their skills and knowledge to help gain employment within the wind turbine sector.

City and Guilds C&G 2339 Electrical Power Engineering

These qualifications suitable for electricians who want to work in the Power Generation Industry. Covering most electrical distribution systems from wind turbine to meter installation. Including introduction to qualifications at levels 2 and 3 and also some SCQF level 5 & 6.

City and Guilds CG-2399 Renewable Energy Systems

2399-01 Foundation Course covers a range of renewable energy technologies for anybody starting out in the industry.
2399 Level 3 is ideal if you’re an experienced engineer or electrician who wants to install and maintain Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Heat Pumps or Water Harvesting Systems.
There are 9 Level 3 awards:
